Hi, I'm Claudia Jo!

I was born and raised in Eugene, Oregon and I have a deep love for the natural beauty of my home state. I'm an interdisciplinary artist with a love for film, photography, and fashion. I was inspired to become a professional makeup artist because it allows me to be immersed in the mediums that I've always loved. My experience ranges from commercial production, print and photo, and bridal beauty. This range of expertise gives me a unique understanding of how makeup looks in person and in photos.

My approach to beauty is influenced by my love of fine art and individuality. I always keep the client's natural beauty and personality the focus and inspiration for their makeup look. I don't view makeup as a way to cover or change ones self, but a way to enhance and decorate an already perfect canvas. (That's you!)

Although my specialty is natural and modern makeup looks, I adore high glamour, especially retro and vintage inspired looks. I love working with clients who have a non-traditonal approach to bridal beauty and want to create cinematic and timeless looks for their wedding day.

Q: Where are you located and where do you travel?

A: I'm an on-site makeup artist local to Oregon and available for bookings throughout the Pacific North West. Availability for travel beyond this area is determined through consultation.

Q: Do you offer hair styling as well as makeup?

A: At this time I offer hairstyling for my bride only and small packages upon consultation! I recommend hiring a separate hair stylist for bridal party members for times sake and an organized getting ready timeline.

Q: How can I view your rates and pricing?

A: I send out a brochure with packages and pricing once you've filled out my inquiry form to determine availability. More details are listed on my booking inquiries page.

Q: I don't really wear makeup and have never gotten my makeup done professionally. I'm nervous and don't to what to expect or where to start. Is this for me even though I don't wear makeup in my daily life?

A: This is totally normal and often the case for many of my clients. If you feel the call to wear makeup on your day, then yes it's for you and hiring a professional is absolutely the way to go! During your consultation and trial I will help you find the level of makeup you desire and ask detailed questions about your style, inspiration, and comfortability to build a look that works for you. I'm here to guide you if you don't know where to start and to listen to your feedback.
